7 Pointer system is mainly based on BSC students

So today we are learning about Mumbai University 7 Pointer System for BSC Students

O Grade = 7 Pointer= 70 and above

A Grade = 6 Pointer = 60 to 69.00

B Grade = 5 Pointer = 55 to 59.00

C Grade = 4 Pointer = 50 to 54.00

D Grade = 3 Pointer = 45 to 49.00

E Grade = 2 Pointer = 40 to 44.00

F Grade = 1 Pointer = 0.00 to 39.00

And you must require 40 marks in each subject to clear the exam.

And this 7 Pointer scheme is available for the last batch which was appeared in 2015 and after those new batches appeared in 2016 and so on they have Pointer out of 10. 2015 was the last batch to have Pointer out of 7

Mumbai University has a seven-point ranking system, where ‘O’ implies 70 and above and a grade point of seven, ‘A’ implies 60 to 69.99 and a grade point of six, ‘B’ is 55 to 59.99 and five-grade points, ‘C’ refers to 50 to 54.99 and a grade point of four.

It further includes grades ‘D’ (45 to 49.99) and grade point three, ‘E’ (40 to 44.99) and grade point two, and ‘F’ denotes fail in cases where students score 39.99 and below. It is used by all faculties except the law and the fine arts department. source
